Review on quantum simulators of nonstandard geometries published

In an international collaboration, we have written a review on the status of quantum simulation of exotic geometries, impossible to find in the real world. Important examples are fractal lattices, quasicrystals and higher-dimensional or curved spaces. These systems can be realized in various quantum simulation platforms including atomic, photonic and electronic devices.

The work is published in Reviews of Modern Physics.
